New leadership bolsters company’s vision to create greater value for customers by leading with product and science expertise
BOSTON – November 7, 2023 – Harver, the industry-leading hiring solution helping organizations optimize their talent decisions, today announced the promotions of Dr. Ben Porr to chief customer officer (CCO), Chris Pateman to chief sales officer (CSO), and Arnold Sowole to executive vice president (EVP) of product and engineering. These leadership appointments strengthen the company’s commitment to delivering customers best-in-class product and science innovation, while also positioning Harver as a long-term, strategic partner.

Executive Leadership Appointments
- Dr. Ben Porr, Chief Customer Officer: Previously serving as Harver’s global vice president of people science, Dr. Ben Porr becomes the company’s chief customer officer. With over two decades of experience in industrial and organizational (I/O) psychology, Porr has been at the forefront of solving customer’s most complex hiring challenges by implementing science-backed predictive talent decisioning solutions. As CCO, Dr. Porr will be responsible for people & data science, account management, professional services & implementation, and product integrations.
- Chris Pateman, Chief Sales Officer: Previously serving as vice president, EMEA, Chris Pateman becomes Harver’s chief sales officer. Since joining in 2013, Chris has worked in various roles helping bring Harver’s solutions to market and will now be responsible for leading sales, driving business development, and overseeing the company’s solutions consulting team.
- Arnold Sowole, Executive Vice President, Product and Engineering: Arnold Sowole will serve as executive vice president of product and engineering. He will be responsible for driving product innovation and engineering within Harver’s suite of automated solutions delivering deeper impact to the company’s growing customer base.
These appointments follow the company’s recent announcement of Steve Martin as chief executive officer. Martin, previously served as the company’s chief technology officer, and brings a wealth of product and corporate strategy experience to drive company direction to ensure innovation is the cornerstone of the business’ approach.
